In 1758 King Kamehameha was born, this was the same year that Halley’s Comet appeared over the Hawaiian Sky. There was a Hawaiian legend that foretold a story of a King so powerful he would unite the Hawaiian islands, and that the sign of his birth would come from a comet in the sky.
