My name is Kyle Nishiyama, I am a licensed Realtor #R(S)-81599 with Knutson & Associates Sales and Property Management in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
I was born and raised in Spokane, Washington and am the youngest child in my large family. Growing up with parents who met and fell in love on Maui, I would often hear stories of the breath-taking beauty these islands possessed; shrouded in mystery and blessed with spiritual and ancestral heritage.
In 2004 I visited Hawaii for the first time and I can still remember the gorgeous and fragile pikake lei that was given to me on my first day. For six years I manifested a dream of living where there were upbeat sounds of the ukulele, vibrant colorful tropical flowers and you guessed it, drinks with tiny little umbrellas! Simply making it here in 2010 was the accomplishment of a lifetime.
The Big Island of Hawaii is my home. The Big Island has a number of sacred and historical sites not to mention unique beautiful beaches, numerous waterfalls and the largest and most active volcano on the planet! For the past decade I’ve been living a dream come true experiencing the island lifestyle and exploring as much of the state as possible. Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui and Hawaii Island have each left their own mark on my heart. From the depths of the coral protected golden coastline to the peaks of Mauna Kea and Haleakala there isn’t a single moment I’ve failed to enjoy.
My passions run deep in my day to day life but I never let that get in the way of my determination and work ethic. I have spent the past decade in Hospitality Management. The restaurants I’ve opened and managed have been featured on The Food Network, KITV, in Martha Stewart Living Magazine, along with a wide variety of local publications. I have had the pleasure of working with culinary experts from around the world and with restaurant owners/entrepreneurs that have had extremely grand visions. Some of my skills and experience include operations management, opening new restaurants, new brand development, staff training, menu consultation, general management, sales, public relations, and social media marketing.
With this background and using every resource available to me, I am devoted to my client’s satisfaction completely and guarantee to go above and beyond the expectations of the people I work with. I represent investment clients who are looking to buy a piece of real estate in one of the most desirable locations on the planet. But the most fulfilling work I do is when I get to put an individual or family in their forever home.
